I have some incredibly exciting news to share with you all. We’re making a significant upgrade by transitioning from Django templates to a cutting-edge single-page application built with React. What’s more, I’m thrilled to announce that the React client will be open-sourced. This change will revolutionize the user experience, bringing it up to modern standards and ensuring consistency throughout. I’m integrating Material UI to provide a cohesive interface and elevate the visual aesthetics with its fantastic micro-interactions. This update has been long overdue, and I believe it will not only enhance LangCorrect for everyone but also provide me with valuable experience working with React, helping me secure a junior software engineering role.
Now, I’m reaching out to ask for your valuable assistance. I invite you to join me and another developer on this exciting journey and contribute to the development of our open-source application. Whether you’re a seasoned React developer or just starting out, your contributions are warmly welcomed.
Here’s how you can get involved:
- Help make the client fully responsive on mobile devices.
- Assist in integrating MUI, ensuring consistent theming and styling.
